This week, Bring The Elephant Home hosted students from International School Bangkok for a conservation action event, in collaboration with the local community in Ruam Thai village and staff of Kuiburi National Park.
Students helped rangers clean a water hole in the protected area, worked with farmers to weed and maintain alternative crop research plots, and participated in various community activities to support human-elephant coexistence.
This event provided alternative livelihood opportunities and income for 32 local people and several community groups. Thank you to @International School Bangkok for partnering with BTEH to run yet another successful event!
