Adopt African Elephants

Join us in protecting one of the planet’s most majestic creatures—symbolically adopt an African elephant today. By adopting, you support vital conservation efforts that protect elephants in the wild, preserve their habitats, and help ensure their future.

As an adoptive parent, you will aid in our elephant conservation initiatives in Southern Africa. You will also contribute to our research into solutions which will benefit elephant well-being and conservation as well as insights into people living with elephants harmoniously.

You can become an adoptive parent with a minimum donation of € 90 per year (Level 1). There are three additional Levels to choose from. In the form at the bottom you can see what it offers per Level. You will receive a personalized digital adoption certificate and we will keep you informed by e-mail. Every update puts an elephant in the spotlight.

As an African elephant adoptant you will help to:

  • Contribute to Elephant Conservation Policy: Drawing on our 20 years of research and experience, we actively develop and refine conservation strategies.
  • Support Elephant Well-Being: Your support funds research on the effects of interventions like range expansion, as well as other sustainable, non-violent solutions.
  • Advance Research: Together with fellow scientists, we investigate the root causes of human-elephant conflicts and work toward lasting, peaceful solutions.
  • Enable Conservation Action: We develop and implement practical methods for human-elephant coexistence, paving the way for a brighter future for wild elephants.

Your Impact Matters

By adopting an elephant, you become a vital part of the conservation community—helping us develop effective policies, support the well-being of these majestic animals, conduct essential research, and enable on-the-ground conservation action. Human-elephant conflicts pose a significant challenge—often tied to habitat fragmentation, restricted movement, disrupted social groups, or other human pressures.. Escalating conflicts can lead to changes in elephant behavior, property damage, injuries, and, tragically, lethal outcomes for elephants. Our goal is to discover and implement peaceful solutions. With your support, we strive to create coexistence strategies that protect both elephants and local communities, ensuring a more harmonious future for all.
