Asian elephants are intelligent, social animals that play a vital role in their ecosystems. But with habitat shrinking and conflict with humans increasing, their survival is at risk. In Thailand’s Kuiburi National Park, over 90% of local farmers experience negative impacts from elephants, leading to stress, financial loss, and concern for their safety. As elephants venture into farmland seeking food, tensions rise, putting both people and elephants in danger—urgent action is needed.

Bring The Elephant Home is launching a community-driven research program to identify individual elephants and understand their movements using wildlife cameras—motion-activated cameras that record images and videos of elephants throughout the night. These cameras provide critical insights into elephant behavior, helping us develop science-based strategies to prevent conflict and promote coexistence.

You can make a difference. Sponsor a wildlife camera today and help turn human-elephant conflict into human-elephant coexistence! There are 6 levels available for you to choose from. If you click on the level you will see read what BTEH can do thanks to your donation and what it offers.
