The Tom Yum project inspires other people living with elephants

The Tom Yum Project community group is selling products and sharing stories about their alternative crop planting and beekeeping initiatives to realise human-elephant coexistence with government officials and community rangers from Ta Takiab, Chachoengsao, another Human-Elephant Conflict (HEC) area in Thailand.

The group is visiting Kuiburi National Park today to learn about the park’s HEC mitigation methods. We are proud to see our local team talking so passionately about the project, inspiring other communities by showing that there are sustainable ways to peacefully coexist with elephants that are good for people and elephants.
